BRYAN ALVEY... has worked with computers in the archaeology and museum worlds since 1981 at the Institute of Archaeology, El Museo de Salango, and the Victoria and Albert Museum. He has produced many application systems, including fund management systems (MGC), mailing and membership systems (Friends of the V&A), project monitoring systems, preventative maintenance systems (the Science Museum), national registers (The Conservation Unit, MGC), networked marketing systems (Aircall), and portable museum cataloguing systems, videodisc library systems (The National Railway Museum). He has lectured at major international conferences including the Society for American Archaeology and the Intervention Archaeology Conference.

KEVIN FLUDE ... has worked in the ITC/Museum Documentation world since 1976 at the Research Laboratory for Archaeology and the History of Art at Oxford, the Museum of London, and at the Victoria and Albert Museum where he worked as a consultant. He has produced numerous documentation studies, has lectured on Documentation at the Institute of Archaeology and at many seminars, and produced a number of computer systems in micro, mini and mainframe environments. He was chair of AMSSEE's documentation Panel for a number of years. He is also part-time Director of the award winning Old Operating Theatre, Museum and Herb Garret.
