There is an increasing understanding that a Museum's mission statements demands attention be paid not only to the spaces within the Museum but also spaces outside the Museum. The Museum of London, for example, has the entire City on its doorstep. How does a Museum interact with its hinterland? How do environemental objects fit in with Museum displays?
